These three identical luxury ships are perfectly-tailored for a Galapagos Islands' cruise of maximum comfort. The boats measure eighty-three feet long and cruise at twelve knots. Each accommodates twenty passengers with two nautical guides per ship to guarantee a superior cruise experience. The air-conditioned Eric/ Letty/ Flamingo all include expansive sundecks, delectable cuisine and well-stocked bars. Each ship is equipped with wetsuits, snorkel gear, and sea kayaks.
SCUBA: Passengers who are certified scuba divers can choose to purchase a scuba package. The package is available every week on the Eric, Flamingo or Letty and includes two days of diving (on Thursday and Friday). With a minimum of three divers on Thursdays, the option is an intermediate dive at Seymour, Mosquera or Daphne, depending on the conditions. The cost is $175 per person (2 tanks). On this day, the divers will miss the land visit to North Seymour. On Friday, one of two dives is offered and is determined by the first two divers who sign up. The first Friday option is an intermediate to advanced dive to Gordon’s Rocks or Sante Fe and includes a snack lunch and visit to a tortoise farm after the last dive ($195 per person, two tanks). Divers will miss the visit to the Darwin Station and the Highlands. The second Friday option is a beginner dive in Academy Bay; divers miss the visit to the Darwin Station ($155 per person, 2 tanks). The dive fee includes filled tanks, weight belt, weights, BCD, regulator, wet suit, boots, fins and hood. Although not required, we recommend all divers have sufficient experience with at least 20 logged dives or advanced dive certification due to strong currents, cold water, thermo-clines and large marine life.
