La Pinta, a brand new cruise ship accommodating 48 passengers in luxurious accommodations, began sailing in March 2008.  La Pinta boasts a large observation lounge and bar which can be used for al fresco dining, an outside sky bar, multiple observation decks, stargazing programs, sun chairs, a small gym, Jacuzzi, a well stocked natural history library and conference center,  twenty-four hour medical staff, certified naturalist multilingual guides, and satellite internet connection.  The window lined dining room allows for great Galapagos views while enjoying fantastic cuisine.  The 24 spacious ocean view staterooms are located on the upper deck complete with convertible twin or double beds, private facilities, personal safe, individually controlled AC, closet space, and fine linens.  With its exquisite services and state of the line equipment, La Pinta is a great choice for your Galapagos cruise.
