The Galapagos Explorer II not only offers an opportunity for discovery, adventure and environmental education, but it is also a superior vessel that offers the highest levels of comfort and safety, while complying with the standards of the Galapagos National Park Service. Built in 1990 in Italy, the Galapagos Explorer II offers space for one hundred passengers with accommodations in fifty suites, each with TV, VCR, mini bar and satellite communications. The commons areas feature a boutique, a spa with massage services, a library filed with relevant information about the island wildlife, a karaoke bar, conference room, Jacuzzi, solarium, and expansive observatory deck. The stylish Explorer II even offers diving opportunities for its interested guests.
