Hotel Remota is the stylish melding of Patagonian vast wilderness, the region’s cultural roots, and architectural whimsy inspired by traditional estancia structures. Each of the 72 spacious rooms has a unique style pairing clean lines and ample light with cozy touches such as hand-woven wool blankets and raw lenga (beech tree) pillars. The hotel features ample common areas, a Finnish sauna, heated swimming pool, open-air Jacuzzi, and other areas for relaxation. Its restaurant focuses on fresh products from local farmers and fishermen, paired with Chilean wine. While the hotel is reason alone to visit, the excursions are the true focus of the Remota experience. Located on the shores of Last Hope Sound, just outside the town of Puerto Natales on the way to Torres del Paine, Remota includes diverse excursions spanning the largest area of any lodge in the region. Daily departures explore Torres del Paine National Park, the Southern Fjord, the Baguales Mountain Range, Lake Sofia, Monte Rotundo, Puerto Natales and Sierra Dorotea.
