Overview of the HERITAGE ADVENTURER
MS Heritage Adventurer (formerly known as MS Hanseatic) is a true pioneering expedition vessel of exceptional pedigree. Often referred to as the ‘Grande Dame of Exploration Cruising’ due to her celebrated history and refined design, the ice strengthened Heritage Adventurer was purpose-built for polar exploration in 1991 at Finland’s Rauma shipyard. Heritage Adventurer explores the Subantarctic Islands of Australia and New Zealand (including The Snares, Macquarie Island, Auckland Islands and Campbell Island) as well as the Ross Sea – the “heart of Antarctica” where only a few hundred people visit each year.
