Trip Extension Itinerary

Tierra Chiloe Island

Spend four days in luxury on Chiloe Island, discovering its cultural and natural treasures.

Upon arrival in the town of Castro, you will take the 30-minute drive to Tierra Chiloe Hotel & Spa. After checking in to your accommodations, you enjoy a relaxing free evening, exploring your tranquil surroundings.

Day trips are scheduled and designed to allow guests to discover the magic, culture and nature of Chiloe through a different angle each day.

By boat: The hotels wooden excursion vessel “Williche” was constructed by local boat builders who employed ancient techniques traditionally used by island craftsman. Weather permitting, the Williche takes guests through the channels that separate the Chiloe archipelago from the Chile mainland.

By van: Three half-day and four full-day excursions visit different attractions of the island.

By bicycle, horseback and kayak: The hotel offers a variety of guided horseback riding, bicycle and kayak trips in the areas of Pullao, San Jose and Quilquico. Depending on the experience level and interests of the participants, the trip may last two to five hours along routes that offer privileged views of Chiloes countryside and daily life. (B,L,D)
