Trip Extension Overview

This two-day Peru tour extension takes you south of Lima along the Pan-American Highway to the colonial town of Ica for an observational flight over the famous Nazca Lines. It is believed that the pre-Inca Nazca civilization created these gigantic representational figures and lines in the desert. The mystery of their meaning and function is compounded by the fact that they can only be viewed in their entirety from the air.

Ica & Nazca Lines

Explore the Nazca Lines on a two-day tour, with an observational flight over these ancient geoglyphs.

Travel by private van to Ica where you’ll be transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and explore the town or visit the Ica Regional Museum. (B)

After breakfast, board a small plane at the Ica airport for an exciting ninety minute flight with a bird’s eye view of this unique desert environment and the mysterious Nazca Lines. In the afternoon, travel back to Lima in a private van where you will be transferred to the airport or your hotel. (B)
